Well, the Easter weekend has past and we managed to survive it – sports free, once again. We are not going to lie – it wasn’t easy and the prospect of Anzac Day looming without the NRL and AFL doesn’t bear thinking about.
If you are like us and have resorted to placing bets with your wife as to which kid will blow up first when they realise the modem has been switched off, you are in need of some good news. The recent reports of this infamous curve flattening and both codes starting to speculate on a restart date – we have a glimmer of hope.
Our developers are continuing to train hard (they tell me, Animal Crossing provides all the training they need) in readiness for a formal announcement regarding the start and structure of this year’s competitions. We will be ready when our governing bodies give us the news we so crave for.
On a serious note, thanks to all of those who have made contributions to assist keep One Pick alive into the future. At this time, more than ever, this is required to fund the extra development hours required to restructure the competitions when the necessary changes are announced. However, we do acknowledge, this is a difficult time for many. If any contributor would like their monies returned to them, we will be happy to oblige.
Please drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can make the appropriate arrangements – no questions asked.
Stay well. Stay safe.
